I purchased the XL version of this bag on May, 11 2015 and I have carried it nearly every day since. I bought this to replace a similar messenger bag made by Rapid Dominance, because I was searching for something with a bit more of a vintage style. I researched quite a few different bags before deciding on this particular model. The bag arrived within a few days of my order, it was boxed and bagged inside the box. I was immediately amazed by the quality of the bag. The size was perfect at 17.3". I excitedly began jamming my daily stuff into the new bag. It easily holds my binder, and a variety of small things that I carry daily. I do not use this bag for transporting any type of laptop, so I cannot speak to using it for that purpose.
You can’t swing a dead cat around the countryside without hitting a craft brewery these days. Pretty much everywhere you turn, there’s a bunch of bearded guys in flannel shirts offering you a free sample of their latest creation, usually something with a clever name like Hops on Pop IPA. You could get something local, something seasonal, or something weird. Great for that friend who’s still drinking Natty Lite at age 32.
Emails just don’t always cut it. Thank-you notes, condolence letters, and even some follow-ups to job interviews still need to be penned by hand, and many of our kids have nothing to write them on. Sure your kid can run to the store every time he or she needs to write a note, but if there’s a nice box of stationery on hand, the chances are much better that the note will actually get written. Moo offers beautiful letterhead that can be personalized on high-quality paper stock. The designs are far from traditional and the paper is safe for laser printers. Paperless Post offers personalized paper stationery in a seemingly endless array of designs.
For picnics on the quad, summertime camping trips, or even just watching flicks in the common room, the rumpl blanket is a cross between a sleeping bag and a duvet — a.k.a. a must-have for any adventure. The match-everything design will look just as at home thrown over a dorm bed or right beside a campfire, plus, it folds up to roughly the size of a basketball.
Start with a block of 4x4-inch wood, and sand it to smooth the rough edges. Once sanded, paint the top a color to coordinate with your friend's workspace. Cut the bottom of the block at an angle to tilt the base, then measure the sides of the block to determine the length of decorative paper needed to cover them. Soak the paper in water to make it pliable, then use a thin layer of watered-down decoupage medium to evenly attach the paper to the sides of the block. Line up the paper with the block's painted top; if the paper is too long at the bottom end, neatly wrap it around the base. Seal the paper with a top coat of decoupage medium. On the top of the block, measure and mark pencil holes in an evenly spaced pattern; drill holes into the top at a 90-degree angle using a 1/2-inch bit.
This giant bean bag is big enough for two, but it’s so comfortable they may not want to share it. Study in luxury or take a long nap between exams. Either way, we promise they’ll find a use for this that they soon can’t live without. But beware: just like their last questionable relationship, people have been known to disappear into these for months.

You want your kids to heed wise parental advice, but you’re not there to nag them about cleaning their clothes. Solution: a copy of “Do Your Laundry Or You’ll Die Alone.” This beautiful, clever little book by Becky Blades includes 270 wise, wry gems of parental advice, like “You can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats the server at Applebees.” (The newer hardback version is available for $9.29 on Amazon.)
1. Diploma frame from the graduate's school. Whether your graduate is going to run her own company or have a small office in a mega-company somewhere, they'll most likely want to display their diploma proudly for all to see—and for years to come. Many campus bookstores offer diploma frames with college or university logos that will add that extra "pop" to your graduate's official degree.
It is that time of year where everyone is looking for the perfect gift for loved ones, some of us are poor or don't know what to get that special person. It may seem easy to pick out presents for college students because at this point they are probably running out of everything: money, food and motivation. I have compiled a list of ideas for the college student and/or peer in your life!
Still haven’t found what you are looking for? Campus bookstores have a huge array of college-branded items that can be ordered online, many at the very last minute. College kids love gift cards to local restaurants that are above their pay grade or to the neighborhood pizza joint so that they can treat a gang of friends. Ditto with gift cards to yoga, spin, and barre classes. Here are some great wallets for young men and a hoodie for anyone headed to a career in tech. Patagonia beanies come in every cozy warm style and color and we love the cable stitch ones for women.

The canvas is very strong and comfortable, and there seems to be no defects on the stitching. The buttons, leather straps, buckles and zippers appear to be great quality. I received the XL and think the size is perfect for larger laptops/books. The inner zipper is great for keys while the outer pocket is perfect for the laptop charger and cell phone. There are two pockets on the side, but these are more difficult to get into since there is a buckle (no button) for closure. My only disappointment is that the side pockets are BARELY large enough for a standard bottle of water (and it is still snug). It would have been nice to accommodate different size drinks.

Christine Evans, who’s studying fashion at Parsons School of Design, has been coveting a Burberry rain jacket for years. “Truthfully, my dad has always always worn one since I was little and I’ve always admired it. I really like the look and fit of the coat and we’ve always kind of talked about the style of it. He said that when I’m older, he would get me one when the time was right!” And graduation seems like as good a milestone as any.
Baked Goods are always a very inexpensive, tasteful gift to give. I make homemade cookies, cheesecakes, brownies or even pies, depending on who I’m giving them too and if their needing them for an actual occasion or if it’s just a get together during the holidays. This year though, I told my daughter, who’s 24 and my neice who’s 27, all I want from them this year is to get their behinds in the kitchen with me and let me teach them things that I’ve learned from over 30 years of baking. I bake everything from scratch. No store bought pie crusts in my house, EVER! lol I keep telling them that they don’t want to wait until it’s too late to try for themselves, especially now that they are both mothers too and could pass this down to their daughters. Too, Big Lots is a great place to find inexpensive cook books from Food Network Chefs.

15. Chalkboard Glasses—When you have a group of friends together and everyone is drinking from the same style of glasses, it's easy to mix up whose glass is whose. Chalkboard glasses solve this problem. People can write their names on their glasses, and the chalk easily washes off later. You also have the option of purchasing chalkboard labels that adhere to the glasses that the gift recipient already owns.

Starting last month, my Roku 4's fan started running constantly and making strange noises that I could hear 2 rooms away. I thought other reviewers were exaggerating about the noise, but it is LOUD. I contacted customer service to report the issue and worked through their suggested steps of rebooting the thing, unplugging it, resetting... Read more
When you’re on the go all day, it’s a bummer when your phone battery can’t keep up with the action. This portable power bank is one of the smallest available—it’s about the size of a tube of lipstick—and it will charge smartphones up in a snap. It recharges in just three to four hours, and it comes with a travel pouch as well as an 18-month warranty. That means no more excuses that they’re not responding to your texts because their phone battery died!

Have you blessed her with grandchildren? If you have, then you have already given her the greatest gift of all, but she still definitely wouldn’t mind additional evidence of the existence of those adorable moppets. She can use it to taunt Barb, her workplace nemesis whose no-good son Brad has yet to even have a serious girlfriend. Giving someone a picture of yourself may seem narcissistic, but, trust me, your Mom won’t think so.

Some great gift ideas. I find the less you spend then the more effort you put in and therefore i think it is much more appreciated. One that i do a lot is but a decent size frame for arround $4 to $5 and then hunt out a load of memorable photographs of the person that the gift is for and then make them into a collage inside the frame. This is always received with enthusiasm.
Once the daily PE classes or high school sports teams wind down, it becomes all too easy for college students to lower their level of physical activity. Sometimes it takes a bribe, in the form of a tech gadget they covet, to get them moving again. Some gift options include, a fitness tracker (Fitbits start at $100) Bluetooth earbuds (The Wirecutter recommends the $100 Jlab Epic 2), insulated water bottles like S’ip by S’Well ($25 each) or a new gym bag.
MINI JAMBOX by Jawbone Wireless Bluetooth Speaker  Sometimes music just needs to be blasted loudly, for the entire dorm hall or apartment mates to enjoy. This small speaker packs a ton of audible punch. Mophie phone case charger  Your teen with never be able to use the “my phone ran out of battery excuse” with a Mophie case. Having a charged phone is a true safety device.  Jackery Portable Charger This small charger can easily fit in a backpack or briefcase and serves the same purpose of never letting a phone go dead.

We got my brother a water bottle, and he was so excited! HydroFlask is a popular brand, but it’s pricey! We LOVE the Simple Modern brand of water bottle. It keeps the water really cold (and your ice sticks around for a long time), but they are half the price. I have the 64-ounce bottle, but there are different ones in a variety of sizes. The HydroFlask lids do fit on them. I bought one of the HydroFlask straw lids, because I prefer that for drinking out of my bottle.
My wife and I have had this coffee maker for a month, and we love it. Well, we love HALF of it -- the left half. We've probably made more than 100 cups of coffee on the single-serve side, and every single one has been terrific, with better taste than one typically gets from making a full pot of coffee. And with the single-serve side, we're actually using LESS coffee than we were using with our previous coffee maker, which was a standard "carafe" style coffee maker. (In fact, we're using about HALF as much coffee as we were using with the old coffee maker.) One of the issues that this coffee maker solves is that my wife likes lightly brewed flavored coffee, while I like dark-roast coffee that is brewed for hand-to-hand combat. ;-) This coffee maker works well in that type of environment.
