Something every student needs from time to time, particularly if they live in an apartment instead of the dorm, is a way to assemble, repair, tighten, hammer, measure, hang, and just generally handle many daily tasks.  Your student could buy tools as he needs them, but that can lead to frustration and delay.  A better way is to have a personal tool kit, like the Stanley 65-Piece Homeowner’s Tool Kit with Screwdriver Set and MaxSteel Adjustable Wrench with all the tools he needs to handle most common tasks like tightening screws, measuring tight spaces, repairing a bicycle, hanging pictures, assembling furniture, handling DIY projects, and much more.  Your student gets one 13-ounce hammer, one 16-foot tape rule, one 18mm snap-off knife, one torpedo level, one long nose and one slip joint pliers, one Phillips screwdriver, one standard tip screwdriver, eight SAE and eight metric hex keys, one 1/4-inch round-head ratchet, eight SAE 1/4-inch sockets, one 1/4-inch spinner handle, one 1/4-inch bit holder, and 30 bits in addition to a 10-piece fluted screwdriver set and a handy 6-inch MaxSteel adjustable wrench.  All of the tools except the additional screwdriver set and the MaxSteel wrench come neatly packed in their own tough, blow-molded plastic case for easy transport to any task.  Tools come with a limited lifetime warranty so you know they’ll last.  Give a gift they will probably use almost every day, not just at college, but for a lifetime.
Here is a compilation of tips, tricks, hints and advice for the college bound student. For example, did you know that instead of taking a shower and cleaning up their dorm room they can spread dry tea bags around to absorb the odor? Or instead of keeping their shoes off the coffee table they can use oil and vinegar to get the scratches out. There are lots of useful ideas in here that can help one navigate through these challenging years of academics and hygiene.
The holidays are coming up and you really haven’t been dating your boyfriend for that long. Cologne seems serious, dorm décor too intimate and tickets can get price-y. But you can’t go wrong with a snazzy t-shirt. This is the perfect way to hint that a casual date doesn’t need to involve a free school t-shirt. Fitted, soft and tailored to his tastes these shirts show even a guy in a tee can be arm candy.
This precision-crafted 13-In-One Multitool set that is versatile enough to be used for quick fixes on-the-go or at the home, to help you with your DIY, Survival, camping or outdoor needs, and is even considered absolutely essential for some of the professionals like fishermen, woodsmen, plumber or electrician. The best part is this pocket multi-tool is extremely compact and can easily slip into your laptop or carry-all bag. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
What's the perfect present for someone in college? Boy gifts, girl gifts, grad gifts, going-away gifts…the range of occasions and options can make anyone's head spin. After all, everyone has different tastes. You need to think about what kind of gift your recipient would appreciate most. Is there something they would enjoy but would never buy for themselves? Would they like a novelty gift that will be good for a laugh? Or should you go with a functional gift that can make their life easier?
I love, love these ideas! My son is special needs, and has SO many aids and people that help him at school. I want to recognize them all at Christmas time, but it can get so expensive! Thank you so much for these fun ideas that are inexpensive, but don’t feel “cheap”. I especially love the Red Box movie night and the Merry Kissmas gift. I’ll be able to thank everyone this year without breaking the bank.

Think of the Amazon Echo Dot like the ultimate study companion. Ask the hands-free, voice-activated device any question, be it study questions or what the hockey score is, and Amazon’s Alexa AI will search the web to get you the answer. Plus, with a few simple words, the Echo Dot can control any lights in your house, set an alarm, notify you of your schedule, quiz you on homework, or Google your study qualms.

He shouldn't have to give much thought to where his essentials are when he's trying to catch an 8 a.m. train. This wall-mounted hallway organizer is the perfect spot for his keys, cell phone, and wallet, and when he gets home, he can drop off his mail here until he has time to sort through it — as he becomes all too familiar with the joys of bill-paying!
I purchased the XL version of this bag on May, 11 2015 and I have carried it nearly every day since. I bought this to replace a similar messenger bag made by Rapid Dominance, because I was searching for something with a bit more of a vintage style. I researched quite a few different bags before deciding on this particular model. The bag arrived within a few days of my order, it was boxed and bagged inside the box. I was immediately amazed by the quality of the bag. The size was perfect at 17.3". I excitedly began jamming my daily stuff into the new bag. It easily holds my binder, and a variety of small things that I carry daily. I do not use this bag for transporting any type of laptop, so I cannot speak to using it for that purpose.

The pour-over promises excellent, rich taste and robust aroma while maintaining the natural oils of the ground Coffee. For the perfect cup of Coffee, simply fill the cone-shaped filter with freshly ground Coffee and pour a small amount of heated water over them until soaked. Slowly pour the remaining hot water into the filter. Coffee will drip into the mouth-blown, borosilicate double wall glass carafe and, in 3-4 minutes, will be ready to serve. Remove the filter from the carafe before serving and enjoy!

Baked Goods are always a very inexpensive, tasteful gift to give. I make homemade cookies, cheesecakes, brownies or even pies, depending on who I’m giving them too and if their needing them for an actual occasion or if it’s just a get together during the holidays. This year though, I told my daughter, who’s 24 and my neice who’s 27, all I want from them this year is to get their behinds in the kitchen with me and let me teach them things that I’ve learned from over 30 years of baking. I bake everything from scratch. No store bought pie crusts in my house, EVER! lol I keep telling them that they don’t want to wait until it’s too late to try for themselves, especially now that they are both mothers too and could pass this down to their daughters. Too, Big Lots is a great place to find inexpensive cook books from Food Network Chefs.

8. A recipe box or binder full of family recipes. This may take some time to put together, but it's definitely worth the extra effort. Put together a recipe box or binder full of your favorite recipes, your family recipes, or even recipes from friends. This personalized collection can help your graduate learn how to cook meals that are familiar and delicious.
The gift-receiving aspect of the holiday season is definitely more important to kids than adults, but that doesn’t mean newly-minted adults should be left off this year’s gift list. College students work hard most of the semester (aside from a few missed assignments here and there). And making it to the holiday 2017 season means they've finished all their final exams and are another semester closer to graduation — and doesn't your favorite college student deserve a gift about it?

The video I included in this article linked here, is a prime example of how the challenge is a celebration of color. Although I had heard of Kasey Golden before thanks to Adam and Steph from the youtube Doodle Date this was one of the first videos of hers that I watched. Kasey's channel features a lot of art challenges from style swaps to following the 500 prompts books.

We have bought these insanely comfortable and trendy shoes for our parents, kids, friends, and ourselves. Fashioned from soft merino wool, the Allbirds “runners” are an everyday shoe that can be worn with or without socks, are amazingly lightweight and can be thrown into the washing machine. If you are unsure of size or color, Allbirds offers gift cards. We are just hoping they bring the orange runner back in time for summer.
44. Amazon Echo—Surprise the student in your life with a multimedia voice-activated speaker. The Amazon Echo plays all of his or her music from popular sites and apps like Prime Music and Spotify. It can also look up information to answer questions, provide the weather, and report the news. And it can even call for an Uber ride, order pizza, and control home features like lights and thermostats.
If it wasn’t for Mom’s college care packages, I don’t know how I would have made it through college.  Now you can send your student the ultimate snack care package without all the time and work it would take to create this kind of variety.  The Ultimate Snacks Variety Box care packages for college students contain an assortment of 50 individually wrapped snacks including chips, cookies, candy, granola bars, tea, and more all neatly packed in a gift pack.  In rare instances substitutions may have to be made in the contents depending on availability, but not in count.  Give a gift that won’t last long in time, but they will remember forever.

The popular Buddy design has now arrived for your kitchen. Buddy uncorks wine bottles with its welcoming open arms. The corkscrew is used manually. When not in use, this little helper looks great as a decorative figure, in your kitchen or on your dining table.  Designed by Alan Wisniewski for Umbra – original, modern, casual, functional and affordable design for the home.

Some great gift ideas. I find the less you spend then the more effort you put in and therefore i think it is much more appreciated. One that i do a lot is but a decent size frame for arround $4 to $5 and then hunt out a load of memorable photographs of the person that the gift is for and then make them into a collage inside the frame. This is always received with enthusiasm.
It is that time of year where everyone is looking for the perfect gift for loved ones, some of us are poor or don't know what to get that special person. It may seem easy to pick out presents for college students because at this point they are probably running out of everything: money, food and motivation. I have compiled a list of ideas for the college student and/or peer in your life!
If your student is in need of a new laptop, this would be a great gesture. The HP 15  Notebook PC is a great option. It comes with Windows 10 Home, high-definition display, AMD Radeon R5 graphics, HP TrueVision HD Camera, DTS Studio sound and much more. Your mileage on something like this is going to vary based on who you're getting it for and how much stuff they like. Might work better as a one-off care package for starving college students rather than how I did it, a subscription item for my teenagers' school lunches. In my case the kids pick through just what they like, leaving behind what they don't until the next box comes, and I'm left with a growing mountain of those radiant orange peanut butter cracker sandwiches.
The Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones edge out the crowded pack of over-the-ear headphones through deep, powerful sound (provided by proprietary Bose-engineered designs), a pillow-like headband and precise rotating ear pads, alongside an almost excessively long cable with inline remote. Factor that into pretty serious noise isolation, and these are the perfect “chilling in a dorm bed” headphones. There's a 20-hour battery life per charge (and 40 in wired mode) and they weigh just 10.9 ounces.
College isn’t all fun and games. There’s a lot of work and a lot of stress, what with all the newfound responsibility. On top of that, you’re not allowed to leave for most of the year. In a lot of ways it’s like a really pleasant, barely supervised labor camp. In short, there are a lot of things a college student can use help with, from homesickness to life advice, from school supplies to basic safety and hygiene. Mercifully, you no longer have to guess what they want. They want this stuff right here.
