The holidays are coming up and you really haven’t been dating your boyfriend for that long. Cologne seems serious, dorm décor too intimate and tickets can get price-y. But you can’t go wrong with a snazzy t-shirt. This is the perfect way to hint that a casual date doesn’t need to involve a free school t-shirt. Fitted, soft and tailored to his tastes these shirts show even a guy in a tee can be arm candy.

When the holiday season is in full swing, do you find that your Christmas gift list just keeps growing? Us too. That’s why we made this list of Christmas gifts under $10. Stock up on these inexpensive Christmas gifts now and when December rolls around, you’ll be glad you did. These are the best cheap Christmas gifts that no one will realize are actually cheap. When you’re invited to a neighbor’s Christmas party and you feel obligated to bring something, reach into your closet and grab one of these gifts on your way out the door. When your friends who promised they wouldn’t do Christmas presents this year show up at your door with Christmas presents (believe us, they will), you’ll be prepared with a little something to give them in return. These gifts are stocking-stuffer and secret Santa ready, and you’ll be amazed that all of them are actually less than $10. These inexpensive Christmas presents can be given as presents to friends, neighbors, co-workers, kids’ teachers—anyone. With these Christmas gifts under $10, you won’t be the friend who forgot a gift, and you won’t be the friend who spent too much money either.
Getting out the door on time and dressed appropriately for the weather is all on her now. Give her the gift of a smooth morning routine with one of Amazon's latest tech offerings: the Echo Plus with built-in Zigbee smart-home capabilities. This top-of-the-line gadget will let her sync up all her music accounts, get news briefs, and request and Uber through a Dolby speaker system — and as she her life evolves, it will grow with her.
Does your boyfriend love solving puzzles? Instead of getting a puzzle with dolphins or cars, reach for a more heartfelt gift. Putting your picture on it through websites like Shutterfly makes the personal gift even more special. “I made a collage of us in puzzle form,” said Betty Straub, a junior at Creighton University. “We put it together with each other and it was so much fun.” Say hello to the ultimate date-night activity, paired with a bottle of wine.
Frank & Oak has become the go-to brand for guys (and, as of late, girls!) to purchase stylish, effortless clothes. I know most of you are probably thinking about gift ideas right now… and we all know how much people love a handmade gift. At least I know I do! When my kids come home from pre-school with a handmade gift, it just melts my heart! So much better than anything else I could ask for. Most of these DIY Christmas gifts below can be made for less than five bucks! You really can’t beat that. Check out how cute they are!
43. Smart TV—Make a college student's day by giving him or her a smart TV. These units can connect to the Internet so that a person can directly access Netflix and video-on-demand services as well as social networking and other websites. Some TVs are also capable of instant messaging and video calling. Depending on how much you want to spend, there are many cool features available.
Stumped on what to get the college-aged person in your life? Whether it’s a going away gift, a birthday present or something clutch for the holidays, a well-placed gift can go a long way toward keeping students focused, on-task and firmly un-homesick. That’s why we put together this gift guide for the university gang, including everything from an all-purpose backpack to a laptop that does just about everything (except get them a 4.0, they'll have to do that on their own).

The Christmas season is upon us, which means we will soon be shopping for the perfect gifts to surprise our loved ones with. Even though the best gifts a college student can receive are a home-cooked meal, good grades, and the sweet relief of another completed semester, here are 10 gift ideas to get for a hard-working college student this Christmas:

11. Briefcase or nice bag. While a briefcase is the traditional gift for a law school graduate, it can also be a great gift for any college graduate. Don't worry about needing to buy the nicest, brand-name, all-leather bag you can find, either; messenger bags and other options might work, too, depending on your graduate's career field and geographic location.
Whether it’s a family heirloom or a new gift, a piece of jewelry can be deeply personal, with meaning for both the recipient and the giver. Alex and Ani have a 2017 graduation charm bracelet ($28) and Monica Rich Kosann has beautiful necklaces with personal messages ($130 for sterling silver). Two ideas with a bit of home are jewelry personalized with the latitude and longitude of a special place, like Lat and Lo, and Dogeared for necklaces with a home state-shaped charm.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best women’s jeans, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, ultra-flattering pants, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
This precision-crafted 13-In-One Multitool set that is versatile enough to be used for quick fixes on-the-go or at the home, to help you with your DIY, Survival, camping or outdoor needs, and is even considered absolutely essential for some of the professionals like fishermen, woodsmen, plumber or electrician. The best part is this pocket multi-tool is extremely compact and can easily slip into your laptop or carry-all bag. Great inexpensive Christmas gift for the outdoorsy man in your life.
Unless you live in Florida or Southern California, it’s probably cold where you are. And cold-weather accessories are, at least for me, always the first things that go missing just when you need them. They fall out of a pocket, or somehow find their way under the seat of your car, or you toss them in the back of the closet and only rediscover them the following summer when you’re looking for some long-lost piece of sports equipment.

As you get older, gifts become more and more practical. And there’s nothing wrong with that. 1,000 thread count queen-size bed sheets? Yes, please. But practical doesn’t have to mean boring and basic. Practical gifts make life easier for the recipient, and the best gifts also reflect the recipient’s unique needs and personality. The gift ideas in this guide will show the college student in your life that you see them working hard to get that degree and even though it’s not easy, you know they can do it.

Whether they're lounging, studying, or recovering from a cold your college student needs some of the warm comforts of home. This best selling throw blanket from Amazon comes in 14 different colors to suit any decor scheme and it also comes in a throw, twin, or queen size depending on their preference. They'll have the option to snuggle up to the flannel side or the textured sherpa side depending on their needs.
When I found myself suddenly single with 2 small children, I had to think hard about gifts. I had no money. I started what we call an envelope Christmas I made the kids an envelope for every week of the year. Each week they got to open an envelope, which contained something special they got to do with me. It cost very little. It was just time together. Baking, going to the park, etc. Now my kids are in their 20s and still call to make sure they’re going to get their envelopes! Now they get one a month. They include anything from a home cooked meal, to a girls’ day out.
I bought 2 new Roku 4 units tested them for any fan noises...mine work great out of the box .. But they do run HOT it's ok here is what you do 1- buy a fan like eBay item # 191501624749 cheap but works perfect the fan is just larger than the Roku unit plug right into the Roku USB port..it's very quiet! It has a led but it could be cut off so that it don't shine
Gone are the days of solo cups and ping-pong balls in the fraternity or sorority house basement. But we’re wiling to bet the new grad doesn’t have many sophisticated cocktail recipes up his sleeve. Up his entertaining game with this clever set of four pint glasses. Each one has measurement lines that provide clear instructions for making four classic cocktails.
My wife and I have had this coffee maker for a month, and we love it. Well, we love HALF of it -- the left half. We've probably made more than 100 cups of coffee on the single-serve side, and every single one has been terrific, with better taste than one typically gets from making a full pot of coffee. And with the single-serve side, we're actually using LESS coffee than we were using with our previous coffee maker, which was a standard "carafe" style coffee maker. (In fact, we're using about HALF as much coffee as we were using with the old coffee maker.) One of the issues that this coffee maker solves is that my wife likes lightly brewed flavored coffee, while I like dark-roast coffee that is brewed for hand-to-hand combat. ;-) This coffee maker works well in that type of environment.
The K-12 back-to-school shop may have seemed expensive, but the dorm room shop is the one that breaks the bank. The National Retail Federation estimates that families spend almost $900 a year outfitting their students for college. For high school graduates moving into a dorm or an apartment, a gift certificate to Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, or other national retailers will help them to outfit their room. Remind them to look for special in-store college evenings and deep discount coupons before they buy.
Christine Evans, who’s studying fashion at Parsons School of Design, has been coveting a Burberry rain jacket for years. “Truthfully, my dad has always always worn one since I was little and I’ve always admired it. I really like the look and fit of the coat and we’ve always kind of talked about the style of it. He said that when I’m older, he would get me one when the time was right!” And graduation seems like as good a milestone as any.
