Most people know about Mophie now through their Juice Pack line of battery cases. As a college kid, your phone is kind of like your sidekick, and even though the juice packs work great, the cases make your phone bit bulky. Tossing a Powerstation XL into their backpack will ensure that any student won’t suffer from dying phone syndrome. This particular rose gold model offers 10,000 mAh of power capacity, giving users up to five full charges, depending on the device.
7. Your favorite cookbook. Your graduate may have eaten on-campus food, fast food, and overall-just-not-so-great food over the past several years. Why not buy a new copy of your favorite cookbook to help get them started as they learn to cook for themselves? Or, better yet, pass along your own cookbook, complete with notes you write in, for an even more personal touch.
For novice chefs, I recommend the Budget Bytes cookbook, which is designed for people who are new to cooking and who want to save money. The focus is on simplicity, with a lot of basic recipes that can be adapted or modified however you wish. Plus, with the endless food blogs we have these days, you can give your recipient a book that already has a built-in community, where they can seek out further recipes as well as tips and tricks.
25. Streaming Media Player—Streaming media devices are easy to use, convenient, and even portable, which are the kinds of product benefits that a lot of college students desire. Media players offer all kinds of features, including the ability to access video websites and apps like YouTube and Netflix. They can also be used to make Skype calls and go on Facebook. Essentially, they offer a simple and affordable way to turn any TV into a smart TV.

Some college bookstores have deals that come with tech support but, before you make a final decision, see what student discounts you can get from Apple, Microsoft, and Best Buy. When shopping for laptops, or other items from national retailers, parents should be aware that they can generally use college student discounts even if their student does not yet have a college ID card. Retailers often ask for a college email address that many schools issue over the summer, and some will give discounts with a college acceptance letter. Consumer Reports recommends the Acer Spin 1 which retails for about $250. MacBooks with enough memory and computing power for undergraduates start at about $1,100.

After this two week period however, I noticed evidence of fogging around the mirror edges, then the entire mirror was fogged up. Now I will admit that splashing some water on it does remove the fog and enables me to shave mostly unimpeded by fog for the balance of my shave . With time I've been forced to splash water on it more than once to keep it... Read more
