I bought this for my son in college. He loved it! It has great recipes that are easy for college students to make. I was very surprised to find that I would actually enjoy making some of the recipes myself. I have a daughter going to college shortly. Best believe she will have this book to take with her. Worth the money. This is also great as a stocking stuffer for Christmas.
One of the problems with taking notes in class is that it takes away from focusing on the lecture.  Some prefer to listen carefully to the lecture while recording it and then re-listen to the recorded notes later annotating key points that they want to remember in their notebook.  Your student can use a Coredy CR-B5 Digital Voice Recorder to record all their notes while they pay attention to the lecture.  It features lossless sound quality, 8 GB internal storage, and up to 32 GB or external storage using an optional MicroSD card.  It can also be connected to a PC to transfer the recording.  Variable playback speed allows your student to slow down the playback to make it easier to copy notes.  Built-in file editing allows your student to manipulate WAV recording files right on the recorder. Bookmarking supports up to 10 bookmarks per audio during playback for easy retrieval of content.  Its double power source design with its built-in 360mAh Li-Ion rechargeable battery gives your student 28 hours of record time or adding a single AAA alkaline battery gives them an extra 14.5 hour of recording time.  It also come with a built-in FM radio that can be recorded, an alarm clock, and a stopwatch.  The Coredy CR-B5 comes with earphones, a USB cable, and a 3.5mm audio cable.  It also has a 1-Year “Worry-Free” warranty. Give the gift that will help your student excel.
Wow! these are some amazing gift ideas. Well thinking about gifts for loved ones is very hectic task. I always try to select such gifts that can be beneficial for others. Cell phones are an indispensable, and expensive, piece of equipment and your student needs a relabel case to keep it from shattering if they drop it (which they will.) While you can find many more expensive models, the Silk phone case has a texture that makes it grippy, not slippy, is lightweight, has protective corners (“airbags for phones”) and is very well-priced. Plus, it gets top marks by the NYTimes Wirecutter.

7. Your favorite cookbook. Your graduate may have eaten on-campus food, fast food, and overall-just-not-so-great food over the past several years. Why not buy a new copy of your favorite cookbook to help get them started as they learn to cook for themselves? Or, better yet, pass along your own cookbook, complete with notes you write in, for an even more personal touch.
Starting last month, my Roku 4's fan started running constantly and making strange noises that I could hear 2 rooms away. I thought other reviewers were exaggerating about the noise, but it is LOUD. I contacted customer service to report the issue and worked through their suggested steps of rebooting the thing, unplugging it, resetting... Read more

1) Scrapbooks from Michaels. They have had coupons left & right for 50% off reg. priced items. I bought 6 scrapbooks from Michaels @ 3 for $10. They came with 10 pages, so 20 slots counting back and front for scrap pages. And another 2 leather scrapbooks @ $10 each (they were 50% off). The leather ones are really nice b-cuz they have the metal rings so that you can add more page protectors, if needed. And they are pretty large/wide. The 2 leather ones are for me 🙂 I am starting the scrapbook for my mom and sister and I will be adding few scrap pages and scrap tools (ink, letters, etc.) so that they can make some of their own. I think it’s a great gift. Kohls also has good deals on scrapbooks sometimes. You can at times find them for 50-60% off and you end up paying right about $10-$12 (this is if you’re looking for fancier scrapbooks and you’re willing to pay more than $10 for a gift). Try the Dollar Store (even Dollar & Up Stores), Big Lots or shop the clearance section for cheap supplies.
Not Black Yoga Pants College women love to go to yoga, barre and spin classes but the day of the black-only yoga pant is over. Try wrapping up some new workout gear in gorgeous bright patterns that will become her new favorites. There are lots to choose from at Pink, Outdoor Voices, LuluLemon, and Athleta, including these white ones which look great with this pretty baby blue top.
Power cords may be very modern, but these leather wraps are a throwback to a much earlier era. Combining what our kids love, tech and the big trend towards natural materials, this set of wraps will keep cords from traveling in a large tangled mess. Given that our kids carry their laptops, phones, tablets, and the necessary array of cords everywhere they go, these will be used every day.

When you’re on the go all day, it’s a bummer when your phone battery can’t keep up with the action. This portable power bank is one of the smallest available—it’s about the size of a tube of lipstick—and it will charge smartphones up in a snap. It recharges in just three to four hours, and it comes with a travel pouch as well as an 18-month warranty. That means no more excuses that they’re not responding to your texts because their phone battery died!

I also docked the mirror because it isn't obvious how to work the suction cup mechanism. I had to watch the very informative video on how to do it. Ideally it would have been obvious without the video. I will say this, the suction holds quite well, and hasn't fallen off yet! That's especially important because the only surface suitable for the mirror to stick to is the inside of the glass shower door. I have to move the door (and the mirror) to get into and out of the shower. The mirror hasn't budged, and I haven't had to reapply the suction cup to the door at all. Good job!
Not so crafty? Don’t worry! I’ve found ideas for any ability and skill level (and you can even enlist your kids and/or hubby to help you out). None of these ideas require mad artistic skills and many can be made from repurposed items and things you already have around the house—so your Christmas list just got significantly easier and less expensive!
The market is saturated with college grads, and they’re going to need a backup plan. That plan is, and always has been, gold! While they’ve been drinking Keystone Light and playing X-Box (or worse, writing math problems and studying business plans), the smart folks have been in the hills filling up their pockets with precious metals. And having a blast doing it.
